Chemical Engineer Principal (Chemical and 环境al Engineering)

Robert is a chemical engineering expert with 40 years of experience performing environmental, 健康, and safety assessments of private-sector and government facilities.

Robert provides technical support to the U.S. 环境al Protection Agency for the preparation of the U.S. National Greenhouse Gas Inventory, including the 能源 Sector and the Industrial Process sector. He also has developed and delivered technical training in greenhouse gas emission inventory methods in Manila, 菲律宾, 和曼谷, 泰国为美国.S. Agency for International Development Low Emissions Asian Development Program. Robert is a lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 2006 GHG Inventory Guidelines for Petrochemical and Carbon Black Production. He was a lead auditor for third-party verification of the corporate-wide air pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions inventory for Petrobras, 巴西, and was a lead investigator for the development of the corporate-wide greenhouse gas emissions inventory for Saudi Arabia Basic 黄金城. 


Robert prepared a study for the U.S. Bureau of Safety and 环境al Enforcement (BSEE) of alternatives to the federal permitting program for offshore oil and gas operations and was quality assurance manager for regulatory assessment projects for the BSEE. He also provided engineering and programmatic support to the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council for streamlining the infrastructure permitting processes. Robert serves as a quality assurance manager and subject matter expert for the preparation of National 环境al 政策 Act documentation for proposed infrastructure projects, including natural gas pipelines, 输电线路, passenger and freight rail lines, and other transportation and energy infrastructure projects. He is serving as quality assurance manager for an 环境al Impact Statement (EIS) for a proposed 120-megawatt offshore wind project in Delaware and 马里兰 and has participated in EIS projects for federal agencies including the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. 美国林务局.S. Department of 能源, Surface 运输 Board, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
